Amsterdam has something of a reputation based on its famous red-light district and its toleration of drugs. However, when you walk around the city, it quickly becomes apparent that Amsterdam is really a shopper's paradise. (Or at least a well-heeled shopper's paradise) The streets are filled with expensive boutiques selling fashions from Versace, Hugo Boss, Armani, Gucci, Louis Vitton, even Harley Davidson for obscene prices.
